🌍 Conservation & Community

Our Projects

Chase Sanctuary proudly donates to and partners with organizations across the globe to further conservation efforts and protect endangered species.

Partners in Protecting Wildlife

Our funding and partnerships extend beyond our sanctuary walls β€” supporting field biologists, habitat protection, and community programs around the world.

Dyer Island Conservation Trust

Chase Sanctuary is proud to partner with the Dyer Island Conservation Trust (DICT) to help save the Critically Endangered African Penguin.

Founded in 2006 in Gansbaai, South Africa, DICT protects the penguin colony on nearby Dyer Island. Its work includes rehabilitation of sick seabirds, hand-rearing penguin chicks, building artificial nests, and educating their local community.

Through this partnership, Chase Sanctuary supports DICT's rescue and rehabilitation work as we share the African Penguin's story with our visitors, members, and community. Though these penguins live thousands of miles away, their survival depends on people everywhere choosing to care.

Bioparc of DouΓ©-la-Fontaine

Antongil Conservation, a Malagasy NGO created in 1999 with the help of the Bioparc, works to protect the biodiversity of Antongil Bay in the North-East of Madagascar. Sheltering remarkable and threatened biodiversity, these spaces are threatened by exploitation of natural resources, slash-and-burn cultivation, logging, and hunting pressure on lemurs.

The Farankaraina forest is managed in collaboration with 10 neighboring villages so that its protection is sustainable and beneficial to all. Chase Sanctuary provides funding to support two Field Biologists and continued monitoring for this important project.

Impact Madagascar

Impact Madagascar's goal is to protect and conserve Madagascar's unique biodiversity while improving the lives of its people. They implement permanent change through collaboration with local communities, creating a foundation on which to build a better world for both wildlife and the humans who share their habitat.

Proyecto TitΓ

Proyecto TitΓ works with local partners and communities to protect the critically endangered cotton-top tamarin β€” a one-pound monkey found only in the tropical forests of Colombia. Through public education and engagement, forest habitat protection and restoration, community empowerment programs, and field research, they are helping ensure that cotton-top tamarins continue to have a future in the wild.

Chase Sanctuary provides funds to help support the acquisition of forest and the re-integration of fragmented pieces in the range of this critically endangered primate.

Chase Butterfly Garden

Pollinator populations β€” bees, moths, birds, and bats β€” continue to decline as habitat loss brought on by urbanization, pesticide use, and climate change accelerates. Butterflies and other pollinators pollinate over 75% of the world's flowering plants, making their protection critical to all life on Earth.

The Chase Butterfly Garden, planted with milkweed and native wildflowers, attracts pollinators and provides food and shelter for endangered Monarchs and other pollinator species. Beyond its beauty, it is an integral part of our outreach and education programs β€” inspiring the next generation of conservationists.

Garden sponsorships, memorial benches, and commemorative bricks are available. For corporate sponsorship information, email chasesanctuarymedia@gmail.com
