Get up close with one of nature's most lovable animals in our brand-new Capybara Encounter. This is a personal, hands-on experience with our incredibly friendly capybara — you'll discover its unique personality, natural behaviors, and daily care in a relaxed, intimate setting.
Capybaras are the world's largest rodents, native to South America, and are known for their remarkably gentle, social nature. Group sizes are intentionally limited so you get real one-on-one time — not just a glimpse through a fence.

7 Days or Fewer Before the Experience
- No refunds, cancellations, or rescheduling
- To be considered for an exception, please email info@chasesanctuary.org. If any exception is granted it will incur a $25/person reschedule fee. This fee will be converted to a donation for the Sanctuary.
Late Arrivals
- Guests arriving 30 minutes or more after their scheduled start time may be unable to participate
- Late arrivals are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling
